The Greater Prince William Community
Health Center is growing and we need your skills and experience to serve a
projected 12,000 patients and 18,000 encounters this year. As a non-profit
health care organization serving Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas
Park, our mission is to provide access access to health care for all residents
in our area, regardless of age, income or insurance status. We provide
integrated and coordinated primary, dental, prenatal, and behavioral health care
for the whole family under one roof. Our services are provided with cultural
competency, with a focus on patients' health literacy, and in the patients'
native language.
The Health Center operates a full-service center in
Woodbridge and a mobile health care van. We currently employ full-time and
part-time health care professionals. We are looking to increase the number of
staff and the level of services provided to our community. We offer a highly

Currently, we are interviewing for the following positions:
Dental Assistant (1 position)
The Dental Assistant assists the Health Center's Dentists with pediatric and adult patient care through a variety of tasks. The health
conditions include common, complex and/or advanced orally related diseases needing continued supervision of the prescribed treatment plan. The Dental Assistant will aid in the explanation of the treatment plan and basic oral hygiene techniques such as brushing and flossing. This person collaborates with other medical providers and support staff.
Dental Hygienist (1 position - Part-time)
The Dental Hygienist provides quality oral health care services to all patients, emphasizing the prevention and treatment of disease at the Health Center. The role of a Hygienist in a community health center setting is to respond to all peoples’ need for accessible quality oral care regardless of socioeconomic status. The health conditions include common, complex and/or advanced orally related diseases needing continued supervision of the prescribed treatment plan. The Hygienist reports to the Dental Director, practicing independently and interdependently by collaborating with the
dental team.
Dentist (1 position - Part-time)
The Dentist provides quality oral health care services to all patients, emphasizing the prevention and treatment of disease at the Greater Prince William Community Health Center. The role of a Dentist in a community health center setting is to respond to all peoples’ need for accessible quality oral care regardless of socioeconomic status. Medical Assistant (1 position)
The
Medical Assistant aids the medical providers with patient care through a variety of tasks. The Medical Assistant will prepare patients to be seen by the medical provider by bringing the patient to an exam room, taking vitals and collecting the patient’s health history. The Medical Assistant also helps with administrative aspects of patient care by maintaining patient documents in the Electronic Medical Records and other duties as assigned. This person always maintains professionalism when providing care and delivers care in a culturally competent manner. This person collaborates with other medical personnel, including members of the other practices, to complete his or her work.
OB/GYN Physician (1 position)
The Health Center is
seeking a compassionate, service driven OB/GYN Physician to treat the full range
of obstetrical and gynecologic cases including the diagnosis and treatment
health challenges along with preventive care focused on health risk factor
reduction. The OB/GYN Physician will be responsible for: 1) Providing health
assessments including examine, diagnose, treat and help to prevent the variety
of diseases, illnesses, disorders and other health issues that are unique to
women. 2) Counseling patients on diet and preventive healthcare. 3) Treating and
counseling female patients throughout their pregnancy, including prenatal
diagnoses to delivery and postpartum care.

Description – OB/GYN Physician
Office Manager (1 position)
The
Office Manager is responsible for all aspects of our Front Desk and Call Center operations, including patient appointments, collections, billing, and satisfaction for primary, dental, prenatal, and behavioral health patients. In addition, the Office Manager coordinates provider credentialing, regulatory training and compliance, and employee supervision. The Office Manager supervises the Front Desk Supervisor, 8 Front Desk Patient Advocates, and is a member of the Senior Leadership Group. This position requires an experienced manager capable of multitasking on a daily basi.

Patient Advocate (1 position)
The Patient Advocate
provides quality customer services to all patients of Greater Prince William
Community Health Center. The role of a Patient Advocate is to facilitate the
coordination of patient care from an administrative perspective. Within a
Community Health Center setting, the patient population varies greatly and it is
important the Patient Advocate is able to work in a culturally competent manner
at all times. The Patient Advocate is the first point of contact at GPWCHC for
patients and it is important this person presents professionally and friendly at
all times. This person collaborates with the Physicians, Nurse Practitioners,
and Medical Assistants to complete his/her work.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (1
position)
The Family Nurse
Practitioner will provide care to non-Seriously Mentally Ill (non-SMI) and
Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI) patients of GPWCHC. Care will be provided two days
a week on GPWCHC’s Mobile Care Van at the local Community Service Board offices.
Utilize professional skills in providing diagnosis and treatment of acute and
chronic health problems along with preventive care focused on health risk factor
reduction. Ensure efficient and effective patient care through joint planning
and problem solving with GPWCHC and CSB staff. Provide care consistent with
medical best practices and the policies and procedures of the organization.
Protect the dignity, privacy and confidentiality of patients and their
families.
