Do More 24


DOMORE24-widget250x250-2015Click to give on June 4, 2015, the day of United Way’s “Do More 24″ event that encourages residentes of the National Capital Region to give locally and create positive change in their communities. During this 24-hour period, your gift may be matched and makes the Greater Prince William Community Health Center for additional funding and prizes. Please consider being a part of the Center’s efforts to provide affordable access to integrated primary, dental, behavioral, and OB-GYN services to all, regardless of insurance coverage.

Specifically, during National Health Center Week, Aug. 9-15, your gift will help us provide nearly 4,000 free health services (plus lunch and entertainment) to over 1,000 participants, such as screenings, oral exams and mammographies. This is a chance to help people detect and receive treatment for conditions such as diabetes, anemia, hypertension, cancer, gum disease and vision and hearing impairment. 

Your gift of $24 can… 
Your gift of $24 will provide one homeless person (adult or child) with free health care screenings for diabetes, hypertension, obesity, depression, anemia, gum disease, and vision. The Center will conduct these tests on August 12-14, 2015. The Center will provide every person with their results by August 31, 2015. The Center will provide health care to those without a family physician/dentist.

Your gift of $48 can… 
Your gift of $48 will provide a low income, uninsured family of four with free a free health care screening for diabetes, hypertension, obesity, depression, anemia, gum disease, and vision. The Center will conduct these tests on August 12-14, 2015. The Center will provide every person with their results by August 31, 2015. Your gift of $124 can… 
Your gift of $48 will provide a low income, uninsured family of four with free a free health care screening for breast cancer, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, depression, anemia, gum disease, and vision. The Center will conduct these tests on August 12-14, 2015. The Center will provide every person with their results by August 31, 2015. During the event, new parents will also receive a free car seat (properly installed in their car). The Center will provide health care to those without a family physician/dentist.

Your gift of $240 can… 
Your gift of $240 will provide a low income, uninsured family of four with free school physical.
